Don't have time or resources to complete a gap analysis against the NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements? Well here's the workshop for you. Following on from our successful practical Quality and Safeguards workshops, DSC is offering small group consultancy workshops to a limited number of service providers.
This new 1.5 day workshop will support you to complete a Gap Analysis against the 4 divisions of the Core Module. The evidence captured in your Gap Analysis can be used to complete the NDIS Commissions online self assessment. DSC consultants will provide you will step by step support and guidance, including tips and tricks to identifying your evidence and improvement opportunities. We've also included mapping between the HSQF standards and the NDIS Q&S Standards to help align your past auditing to the new requirements.
This hands on, practical workshop is designed for 2 staff from each organisation to work together in documenting their evidence against each Core Module Practice Standard. Be prepared to finish the 1.5 days with a completed gap analysis and continuous improvement plan. Come ready to work in a supportive environment, led by consultants who know their stuff and with fellow colleagues and peers who are on the same journey.

Ann is the very model of a modern Major General, a woman who gets stuff done at DSC with serious NDIS commercial smarts and an inimitable straightforward style. She has worked in the disability, mental health, and aged care sectors for over 25 years in a diverse range of management roles for both not-for-profit and for-profit organisations. Prior to joining DSC, Ann led the transition of a national organisation to the NDIS, developing Core, Capacity Building & SDA services in trial and rollout sites. Ann has first-hand experience with system and process review, acquisitions, the integration of merged/acquired services and the NDIS registration process across four states,
Ann has established and run a number of social enterprises and her experience includes designing, creating and implementing new services and products across employment, accommodation, community inclusion and training.
After working for over 34 years in the disability sector including 10 years as CEO, Rachel has joined the team at DSC. Working from a values based perspective, she is passionate about healthy communities, authentic organisational change and evolution, driven by the needs of the people whom the disability sector supports. Rachel has presented at workshops and conferences across Australia, New Zealand, The United States and Ireland, teaching and influencing macro change and self-determination.
Rachel has a keen eye for quality, safeguarding, service design and innovation. She has driven new service responses for those with complex needs and through her direct experience in this space, knows the “assumed impossible” can be done. With the added privilege as an unpaid carer, Rachel has experienced first hand that it is people who keep people safe. She is a self-confessed dreamer, dog lover and true crime nerd in her spare time.
